April Showers bring Lyrids Meteor Showers
Amid the April showers is a dazzling meteor shower with bits of rock and dust flying through Earth's atmosphere at over 109,000mph! These rice grain sized fragments light up the night as shooting stars, which makes for a perfect evening to grab a picnic blanket and watch spectacular meteors under PARI's Internationally Certified Dark Sky Park. PARI astronomers will be on hand to show you other fascinating targets through telescopes.
The OVERNIGHT CABIN PACKAGE for two people includes dinner, a tour, observing the meteors, night sky observing, an overnight stay in a cabin quarter and breakfast.
This is a rain or shine event. If weather does not permit viewing there will be alternate programming. No refunds will be issued!
